COUNTER BOYCOTTS ARE IN ORDER FIGHT AGAINST THE BULLIES
The developing firestorm around the Religious Freedom Restoration Act has opened yet another door to weaken the moral fiber of our nation. We can choose to act to close the door or witness further deterioration. It is people of faith who are being discriminated against; it is a violation of a person’s faith and their right to exercise that faith.
Modeled after the federal law passed in 1993, the Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act protects religious liberty against government overreach. It allows people with religious beliefs the chance to argue in court against government laws and regulations. Indiana COULD have been the 20th state to protect religious liberty and against government discrimination. But similar to Judas on Holy Thursday, Indiana's lawmakers and enforcers choose to betray Jesus for silver coins. Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who initially passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act that would protect religious liberty, signed into law a bill today that will prohibit any business the right to refuse services based “on sexual orientation or gender identity.” What does all this mean? Simply put, State of Indiana lawmakers gave the middle finger to businesses with religious beliefs.
Why the change of heart you ask? Big businesses threatened boycotts! Business such as Apple, Walmart, Salesforce.com, and Angies List.
And Satan entered into Judas, who was surnamed Iscariot, one of the twelve. And he went, and discoursed with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might betray him to them. And they were glad, and convenanted to give him money. And he promised. And he sought opportunity to betray him in the absence of the multitude. (Luke 22:3-6)
As stated by Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, “the only bigotry to be tolerated is their own bigotry against religious beliefs.” It appears that their freedoms are the only ones that matter.
Persons’ rights come from God and not government. Article I of the Bill of Rights states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The role of government is to protect the inherent rights and freedoms of its people, NOT to attack and destroy them. “The law is used as a defense against lawsuits or government action, not as an aggressive action against others” (Mollie Hemingway, Federalist senior editor).
Religion doesn’t tell you it’s ok to discriminate, it tells you to obey God’s law and, because someone refuses to accept God’s law, or the belief that God exists, that doesn’t give them right to discriminate against those who do.
Absent strong objection to these tactics, be prepared for the next momentum of pressure to obliterate religious expression. Counter boycotts are in order. Withdraw support of those organizations opposed to freedom of religious expression.

- It can bring huge financial and emotional stress: Homosexuals can sue people who are exercising their religious beliefs. For example, a heterosexual married couple with children who do not want to rent a room in their own family household to homosexuals could be sued for discrimination based on "sexual orientation." This can incur significant financial and emotional stress upon the family, not to mention the "prior restraint" effect of the fear of being sued which results in a family not renting out a room.
- The health risks are enormous to themselves and others: The fact is that homosexuals do not live as long as heterosexuals due to the health risks associated with the lifestyle, and billions of dollars are spent annually in health care for them. But the HIV/AIDS epidemic is not only in the homosexual community. It has crossed over to the heterosexual community. Whether or not you want to say that HIV/AIDS is a homosexual disease, the fact is that it is highly prevalent among the gay and lesbian community due to their great number of sex partners. The collateral damage to the rest of society, as far as health risks, cannot be denied.
- Gay Marriage means having the morals of the minority forced upon the majority: The percentage of homosexuals in society is less than 5%, yet it is being forced upon the other 95% of society in movies, TV, literature, and political periods.
- Gay Marriage means a redefinition of sexual morality, and with it other sexually related practices will be affected and this can be harmful.
- Gay Marriage reduces the number of children born in society and we need a stable population base to operate properly; therefore, society can be harmed.
- Gay Marriage affects people spiritually: The stress imposed on religious people by forcing them to "accept" and/or support homosexual practice and/or intimidate them into silence harms a person's spiritual and emotional health.
- It forces government to get involved in changing laws which automatically affect everyone in society. Homosexuality is being force fed to our youth via the education system. Civil unions are being recognized by employers which effect co-workers, money payouts, work time, etc. It exposes adopted children within potential homosexual unions to ridicule from others.
Catholic School Teachers Whine and Cry That Catholic Schools Want to Teach Catholic Teachings

Have you been watching the news lately? Catholic school teachers are crying and complaining that Catholic schools are putting morality clauses in their contracts. For example Bishop Richard Lennon (Diocese of Cleveland) is asking teachers to sign a morality clause that bans "public support of positions contrary to Roman Catholic teaching."
Are these teachers really crying about this? They work for a Catholic School. The BIGGEST distinguishing factor between Catholic school over that of a secular school is Catholicism. So are these Catholic schools asking too much from teachers? Imagine if the roles are reversed. What if a so called “gay marriage” society group told its employees to sign a contract saying they will ban public support for the traditional marriage movement, would all the news outlets go crazy and call the “gay marriage” society group intolerant? Of course not!
I encourage Bishop Richard Lennon to stick his ground and continue to be a good shepherd to his sheep. We are at war with the devil, and only by the Grace of God we can win. These teachers need to stop whining and crying.

Michigan judge strikes down a law that bans same sex marriage. In 2004, the people in Michigan voted to keep the marriage between one man and one women Friday March 21, 2014, Judge Bernard Friedman went directly against the will of the people and lifted the ban against so called “gay marriage.”
