The Pope was recently quoted saying “In these cases, where there is an unjust aggression, I can only say that it is licit to stop the unjust aggressor [.]" “I underscore the verb ‘stop.’ I’m not saying ‘bomb’ or ‘make war,’ just ‘stop.’ And the means that can be used to stop them must be evaluated.”

I agree with the Pope that in some instances it is licit (lawful) to stop an "unjust aggressor" like ISIS. I am not sure what the Pope means when he says "I am not saying 'bomb'"; what other means is the Holy Father suggesting?

I think the world community needs to act fast! Just take a look at what's happing in Mosul. Recently a Christian organization went and reported the following "The mission expressed its sorrow for around 45 churches in Mosul that were destroyed and converted into mosques and centers for the Islamic State."

Archbishop of Mosul Amel Nona, who is living in exile in another Iraqi city, speaks boldly saying: “Islam does not say that all men are equal,” and if the people in the west “do not understand this soon enough, you [the westerns] will become the victims of the enemy you have welcomed into your home."
